I walked slowly across the wide grass of the Heijō Palace Site. In the distance, the red outline of the Suzaku Gate came into view.

A capital once thrived here, then faded, and slept quietly beneath the earth for centuries. Now, little by little, it is being uncovered and restored.

Through all its rise and fall, this land remains quietly vast. For some reason, that felt like a kind of reassurance — a stillness that settles gently in the chest.

Failed again? Good.

That's proof you're challenging yourself — proof you're taking action.

What's worse than failing is " not failing " at all.

Because that means you're not challenging yourself, not taking action. Long live a life full of failures!!

It's okay to have nights when you regret a failure. But if, come morning — you can move again, that is more than enough. That is a life truly lived.
