Word 009
In May, Nara wraps itself in green. Sunlight filters through young leaves along the stone paths, and the deer graze in morning stillness.
A traveller passed, and without thinking, Masaru offered a small word of thanks. The stranger's face softened — just like that.
And somehow, the whole day felt a little brighter for it.
In a day, how many words do we use? Complaints, grievances, excuses — or gratitude. The words we reach for, day after day, quietly shape the person we become.
Your life is made of the words you use.
Instead of lamenting your misfortunes or reaching for complaints —
try saying "thank you" in the small, ordinary moments of your day.
You will feel something shift inside you.
Before long, "thank you" will overflow.
And when it does, your life will change.
May "thank you" quietly fill your days — and with it, your life.
